The aim of unlock doors for MS is to assist those who are unaware about the preparation of GAT general, Local GRE or other tests to secure desired marks to get admission in bachelor or master level.

How to increase marks in analogies part?

Instrument Based Analogies comes frequently two times in my GAT General test:
1. Balance: Weigh :: Iron : Press
2. Iron : Solid :: Water : Liquid

So, some MCQs need your common sense which will developed when you ignore negatives, stress, anger....etc. Furthermore, make a notes of new words and their links.For example,

Balance: Bank :: Books : Shop or Library
Balance : Account :: Books : Bag or Library
Balance : Tool :: Calculator : Gadget

Tip: You have to make a sentence in mind for analogies. For example,

Balance is present in banks while books are present in shops situated in market or library situated in university.

Balance is kept in account while books are kept in bags or library.

Balance is a kind tool to measure weight while calculator is kind of tool (gadget) to measure calculations.
If you know 5 analogies in test out of 8, you will beat verbal part easily other wise guessing all analogies will leads to lose marks easily. Perhaps, analogies are solid marks that not need any calculations and will save time. Hence, prepare 500-1000 analogies for test from different books, online sources and past papers of NTS, CAT and GRE.
