Basics of GAT General Test


GAT is abbreviated by Graduate Assessment test done by National Testing Services (NTS) in order test your skills in terms of verbal, analytical and quantitative skills based on 100 MCQs. The passing score of GAT test is 50 and the percentile not percentage is also equal or greater than 50. There are four different papers of GAT General test i.e. CAT-A, CAT-B, CAT-C and CAT-D which are divided for different field of studies. For e.g. CAT-A is for Busiess and Engineering studies. 

Each type of test has 5 different color paper i.e. blue, green, pink, yellow and white. There are two hr. time (120 mint.) to attempt 100 MCQs. Further, 1 mint is for 1 MCQs and 20 mint. time is for filling circle on record sheet. There is no specific book to beat this test. The only tip is to generalize your study in terms of improving dictionary and lists of formula and practice lot of old paper given in NTS books. Moreover, there is no MCQs from book that’s why this test is general.There are some alternate names of GAT-General.
