The square from 1-12 is simple but when we find square of 13 majority do it manually by multiplying 13x13 =169  by using tables. the below is simple method to find square without tables.

               1  3
   Square of 1 = 1      => write it on left side
   Square of 3 = 09    => write it on right side    109
  product of 1x3 = 3 and its double is 6   => add it in 109 +060 mean write in center to give 169.
